The Common Profiles On Industrial Conveyor Belts

In some working conditions, we need to weld belt profiles on to surface of PVC conveyor belt (or TPU conveyor belt ) to meet our customer special requirement. There are different types of belt profiles.

Types of Common Belt Profiles

In our high performance fabrication unit, we weld a large variety of profiles on our belts which fulfil the most challenging requests:

• V-guides.
• Cleats/Flights.
• Corrugated Sidewalls.

The Coated materials can be PVC or TPU.

Applications of Belt Profiles

The quality of belts is high relative to welding reliability and quality. These profiles can play an important role.

• The belt V guides can track the conveyor belt.
• The cleates and sidewall can realize high angle conveying for bulk materials.

There are main three types chevrons:

• Y shape
• Open Shape
• Closed Shape

Conveyor Belt with Cleats, Sidewalls

The corrugated Sidewalls make your belt fabrication easy and more reliable on inclined conveyors or swan-necks. The products are safely kept on the belt. Thus, the product flow is enhanced and the process is under control.

The cleats can tangent to the sidewall or connect into the back of the waves. You can see them in the below picture.

There are four types of cleats for conveyor belts.

• Free Chanel with Inset
• Belt with Curved Cleats
• Straight Cleats

Other Conveyor Belts with Profiles

Pillow belts are designed to absorb shocks when conveying light products such as fruits and vegetables. They can also be useful to convey products with a complex shape or industrial cylinder type that requires a perfect stabilization when being conveyed.

Conveyor Belt with Waves

The conveyor belt equipped with fingers are mainly used in agricultural processing plants, before the washing process as well as for dewatering purposes. The conveyor belt with fingers are used for Positioning, Vertical conveying and Dewatering.
